Let’s Talk Youth Leaders
Youth Leader Role:
After a preview interview with the Let’s Talk Youth Coordinator, youth who have completed the full Let’s Talk program are invited to step into the Youth Leader role. As a Youth Leader, you’ll have the chance to shape and lead youth-focused initiatives, make a real impact in the Kitchener-Waterloo community, and gain valuable leadership experience along the way.
This is a unique leadership opportunity that calls for creativity, adaptability, and strong time-management skills. Throughout the year, Youth Leaders take on multiple roles, gaining valuable experience while making a real impact. You’ll also have the chance to design and lead your own “Youth-Led Circle” sessions on topics that matter most to you and your peers.
Beyond the sessions, Youth Leaders represent Let’s Talk at community events, collaborate on new projects, and contribute their voices to community building. This role is all about empowering youth to lead, inspire, and create change together.
